In early 2006, Ensyn acquired a sole license from the Canadian government for jointly developed intellectual property relating to a method for extraction of certain pharmaceutical-grade compounds through its RTP™ process.

Ensyn is currently examining the possibility of commercializing this license through a strategic relationship, such as a joint venture with a pharmaceutical company.
